There's nothing quite like watching the sun settle over the Chesapeake Bay region from the water.
Our Sunset Paddles depart between 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM, depending on the season, and last approximately two hours. These relaxed evening outings offer beautiful colors, cooler temperatures, and a peaceful atmosphere perfect for couples, families, and small groups.
Experience the shoreline from a completely different perspective as the moon reflects across calm waters.
Moonlight Paddles depart from Rock Hall Beach during the early evening, with departure times based on the phase of the moon. These guided paddles last approximately two hours and provide a unique opportunity to enjoy the water after sunset.

Trip One: Shipyard Landing to Long Cove Landing
Paddle through the calm waters of Davis Creek as we make our way between Shipyard Landing and Long Cove Landing. This route offers peaceful scenery, protected waters, and excellent opportunities to spot local birds and wildlife.
Trip Two: Long Cove Landing to Herrington Creek Landing
Explore the winding waterways of Gray's Inn Creek before arriving at Herrington Creek. This trip combines quiet marsh views, open water sections, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of Maryland's Eastern Shore.
Trip Three: Gray's Inn Landing to Bogle's Wharf
This scenic route follows sheltered waterways leading toward Eastern Neck Island. Along the way, we'll paddle through productive wildlife habitat where bald eagles, osprey, and waterfowl are often seen.
Trip Four: Broadneck and the East Branch of Langford Creek
Enjoy a leisurely paddle exploring the East Branch of Langford Creek. This out-and-back trip is ideal for nature lovers looking to experience peaceful creeks, wooded shorelines, and excellent birdwatching opportunities.
Trip Five: Gray's Inn Creek to Bogle's Wharf
One of our favorite routes for wildlife viewing, this trip follows Gray's Inn Creek toward Eastern Neck Island. Quiet waters, tidal marshes, and expansive natural landscapes make this a memorable paddling experience.
Trip Six: Eastern Neck Island Circumnavigation
Spend the day paddling around Eastern Neck Island National Wildlife Refuge. Beginning and ending at Bogle's Wharf, this adventure offers a full day of exploration through one of the region's most important wildlife habitats. Lunch is enjoyed at Hail Creek before continuing around the island.
Trip Seven: The Down River Adventure
This journey begins at Cliffs City on the Chester River and follows the river downstream toward Eastern Neck Island. We'll stop for lunch at Emory Creek before finishing at Bogle's Wharf. Expect a variety of landscapes, open-water views, and excellent wildlife encounters along the way.
